Integrations we build regularly
Most businesses run on a handful of tools that were never designed to talk to each other. Orders in one place, invoices in another, customer records in a third, and someone copying data between them by hand. We fix that.
Xero comes up more than anything else: creating invoices and contacts automatically when an order or booking comes in, syncing payments back, and keeping the accounts accurate without anyone retyping figures. Stripe is a close second: payments, subscriptions, customer portals, refunds and webhooks that keep your own records in step with what Stripe knows.
Beyond those two we have connected websites and apps to CRMs such as HubSpot, email platforms such as Mailchimp, shipping and fulfilment services, booking systems, Google services (Sheets, Calendar, Analytics, Merchant Centre) and plenty of niche industry platforms. If it has an API we can work with it. If it only offers CSV exports or email notifications, we can usually build around that too.
Building your own API
Sometimes the integration you need is the other way round: other systems need to talk to you. A mobile app that needs your data, a partner who wants to pull your pricing, a third-party tool that should push updates into your platform.
We design and build REST APIs, usually in Laravel, with proper authentication (API keys, OAuth or Laravel Sanctum), versioning so you can change things without breaking existing clients, sensible rate limiting, and clear documentation so the people using it don’t need to ring you. The same API-first approach underpins our app development work: one backend, many frontends.
Laravel development
A lot of our custom work is now built in Laravel. It is the right tool when a project outgrows WordPress: customer portals, booking and quoting systems, internal dashboards, membership platforms and small SaaS products. Laravel gives us a mature, well-documented framework with first-class support for queues, scheduled jobs, authentication, testing and the integrations above.
We build with Livewire or Inertia for the interface depending on the project, keep the code tested and readable, and set up hosting, deployments and monitoring so the platform is as easy to look after as it is to use. If you have an existing Laravel application that needs new features, an upgrade or a steady pair of hands, we take those on too.
Reliable by design
Integrations fail quietly if they are built carelessly: a webhook is missed, a token expires, a record is created twice. We build for the real world. Webhooks are verified and queued, failed jobs retry with backoff and alert us if they keep failing, every write is idempotent so a repeat never duplicates data, and everything is logged so we can see exactly what happened and when.
Each integration is developed against sandbox accounts first, tested with your real edge cases, and documented so you are never dependent on memory. Personal data is handled in line with UK GDPR, with only the fields that are actually needed moving between systems.
